Go to bb. Topic: Anyone remember Bob Morris? He also recorded for Challenge Records. I think Bob was married Faye. He and Faye got an award from the ACM, did reasonably well on the charts and so on. Bob was involved in several smaller CA labels, including Sundown apparently he played fiddle on a single by CA bluegrassers the Kentucky Colonels in , plus he played bass and guitar on sessions.
He was also involved in Sammy Masters' Galahad label as well as his session work at Capitol and Challenge records. Bob and Faye were part of Merle Haggard's first even package show after he split from the Buck Owens package in Nice people and fun to work with.

I can't remember yesterday! Jimmy was also a good songwriter. I believe he's in Nashville now. I ran into him a few years back at Tootsie's working a single for tips but making a lot of money doing it. Jim Bob, what was that single which did pretty well around LA by Bob in the 60's.
